Comment :You know, all this time I've know about this memorial I never knew what to write here. There isn't much you can say about Max in a simple paragraph. He was incredible. I still remember the first conversation I had with him, when he returned to the Creatures Community after he closed the Curiousity Shoppe. I was a newbie then. And after all this time, Max still remains one of my biggest influences when it comes to any graphics I ever create. I looked up to him as a graphics artist, and he remained one of my best and most cherished friends online and off. I'll never forget the help you gave me, SP, when I tried and couldn't get one of those stupid little graphics the way I liked it... everything you taught me, everything I know will always remain with me.

You know, I never got to say goodbye to him. The last time he was in JRC, I missed him only by hours. Cherish your friends, and don't ever let them get out of touch with you. It could be a mistake you'll never get to correct.

Comment :Remember not to take your friends for granted. They could disappear at any time. I still feel like crying when I realize Max is dead, but at least I know what happened to him. I have another friend who just vanished into thin air and I have no idea where he went because we had had an argument over a stupid beta online RPG game six months previous. But anyway, back to Max. We all know how creative he was, so I don't need to belabor that point. I enjoyed and respected his individualism, and I'll miss knowing him for the rest of my life. Peace.

Comment :Max was, and forever will be, one of the closest and dearest Friends I will ever have the privilege of knowing. We met in 77, his brother Jim and I worked at the same sign shop, Max got a job there to empty a wearhouse full of junk, the two of us teamed up for the "garbage runs" which lasted for weeks. A lifelong friendship had begun. We rented a few houses together, he started dating my girlfriends(Terry) bestfriend(Sally). 4 yrs of parties and friendship. Even when Max moved out west, we stayed in touch and always got together when he was in town. Max will forever live in my heart.

Comment :I met Steerpike back in the day of the old ICE chat, I remember doing something stupid and pissing him off = D. I got to know him better in the year and he turned out to be a very nice person. He helped me with a few things and gave of kindness and personality that stood out from others. We all miss you Steerpike.

Comment :Wow, I remember 'SneerPipe'! I was so shocked to hear of his passing. He was truly a great guy, always able to cheer people up, and always creative...=) I left the creatures community not long after Slink did, and hadn't heard of any of the old members of the community since, so it was a shock to discover that Slink makes items and skins for the Sims. It was on her page that I found the memorial. Max Jerome will be in our hearts forever.

Comment :Friend from Everquest. Didn't know him well, but many of my good friends were good friends of his, and I feel as though I missed a chance to make a good friend.

Comment :I knew him only as Steerpike in the game.
He was always there when I was stuggling with my charater and helped me over many levels, I think I can speak for all that knew him in the game that we all miss him very much.
