Weekend Update

March 14, 1999

Well that didn't last very long two weekends and I was done. Starting with the newest changes first, I added a web promotion page. I was interested in seeing how some of these things work. I hope to add more to this page as time goes on.

I added Maniac Mansion Banner Ads to the guest book viewer. All the ads are for other pages on the Maniac Mansion Server.

Previous to the above I completed a large update which, hopefully fixed all the little things that weren't working quite right. I also added some new navigation aids.

Early in the year we received a letter from the Peace Factory, which prompted the creation of the Peace Factory Annex, a web site dedicated to world peace.

Dusty's Place in Cyberspace has received more awards. Thanks to all that were so generous as to give us awards.

I added a page for Dusty's memberships and affiliations. I will be adding to that page as she joins more associations

Dusty has completed lesson's three and four of the Feline Ninja Warrior training, and now has graduated. Since graduating she joined the Feline Ninja Warriors ring. So check out Dusty's Ninja Kitty page.

Well we certainly have been busy lately, what with Christmas and all. But we haven't accomplished nearly as much as was planned. On the Ninja Kitty page there have been updates. There have been additions to the NEW Pics area.

There's not a lot new here at the Mansion this week, but there was an update made on the Ninja Kitty page. Dusty achieved the first level, sigified by the white mouse award.

A new chapter was finally added to Dusty's Bio, so be sure and check it out.

I thought perhaps it was time for some sort of mechanism to alert surfers to new content and changed pages and so the "Weekend Update" is born. The most recent addition to the Maniac Mansion server has been the Crystal Cat Award. There have already been two winners of this prestigious award, so check it out. If you know of a worthy site please stop by and nominate it.

More recent news. Dusty's Place in Cyberspace has received three awards as well as the Cheesy Award. The much anticipated student id card for Mr. Frass' School for Feline ninja Warriors arrived this week and may be viewed here. You may have noticed that I dropped the Roman Numeral counter from the Maniac Mansion home page. It was just taking too long to load and all too often didn't work.

In recent weeks Fun with 3D was added which is a small collection of anaglyphs. I hope to be adding to it in the future.

Previous to that Geckoman was finally launched. This is a collection of gecko videos shot by Irma and edited by Les.

Well that's more than enough recent history. I will try to add a new report to this page every weekend or at least when there have been additions or changes.
